Recent Water Filter Installation Projects
Take a look at some of my recent water filter installation work across Leicester, Leicestershire and the surrounding areas.
I install a wide range of domestic water filtration systems, including under-sink filters, above-sink filters, reverse osmosis (RO) systems and drinking water filter taps. I work with many of the UK's leading water filter brands, including Water2, Waterdrop and other popular filtration systems.
Every installation is completed with the individual property, existing plumbing and water pressure in mind, with a neat and professional finish as standard.
Below are some examples of water filter systems I have installed for customers.
Waterdrop G5P700A Reverse Osmosis Installation – Glenfield, Leicestershire
A customer near Glenfield, Leicestershire, got in touch after noticing their water bills had risen to around £150 per month. They suspected their existing reverse osmosis system might be responsible and asked me to investigate.
After checking their incoming water pressure, which was only around 2 bar, and discussing the condition of their existing system, I recommended replacing it rather than spending money troubleshooting and servicing an ageing setup.
The customer opted for a new Waterdrop G5P700A reverse osmosis system.
The installation involved replacing an old, seized washing machine valve with a new butterfly isolation valve, along with making a few discreet cut-outs between the kitchen cupboards to accommodate the filtered water pipework and tap power cable. I literally had to climb into this cupboard to keep the pipework as neat as possible.
The new system was installed successfully, and the customer was really pleased with the finished result.
Waterdrop T3-C Reverse Osmosis Installation – Syston, Leicestershire
A recent Waterdrop T3-C reverse osmosis system installation for a customer in Syston, Leicestershire.
With limited space beneath the kitchen sink, this installation was a little more challenging than usual, but I managed to fit everything neatly into the available space.
The Waterdrop T3-C features a more traditional reverse osmosis system design, with separate filter cartridges. Fortunately, the customer already had a hole in the sink for a filtered water tap, so no additional drilling was required.
Tyent H2 Hybrid Water Ionizer Installation East Midlands
A recent installation of a Tyent H2 Hybrid water ionizer, along with a replacement kitchen tap.
Rather than using the manufacturer's standard tap-end connection and allowing the waste water to discharge directly into the sink, I opted for a neater, more permanent installation.
This involved plumbing the water supply directly into the existing pipework beneath the sink and connecting the waste water outlet directly into the sink's drainage system.
I also replaced the customer's existing kitchen tap as part of the job.
The result was a tidy, professionally plumbed installation, with no additional hoses attached to the kitchen tap or waste pipe hanging over the sink.
