How Much Does Water2 Installation Cost?

Straightforward Water2 filter installations start from £50, with the final price depending on your existing plumbing and the work required.
Additional work such as fitting a dedicated drinking-water tap, drilling the sink or worktop, replacing unsuitable valves or modifying existing pipework may increase the installation cost.

What's Involved in a Water2 Installation?
1. Cold Water Connection
The Water2 filter is connected to your mains cold-water supply using suitable fittings and isolation where required.
2. Filter Installation
The filter is securely positioned underneath the kitchen sink with the pipework routed neatly around your existing plumbing.
3. Drinking Water Tap
Where required, a dedicated filtered-water tap can be installed through the sink or worktop.
4. Testing & Flushing
Once installed, all connections are checked for leaks and the filter is flushed and tested before use.
Installing Your Water2 Drinking-Water Tap
Water2 systems can use a dedicated drinking-water tap, which may require a new hole to be drilled through your kitchen sink or worktop.
Where required, I can drill suitable materials to create the opening for the filtered-water tap. The exact method depends on the sink or worktop material and the tap being installed.
Some sinks and worktops, such as quartz and solid wood, require more specialist drilling and can take longer to complete than standard materials such as chipboard worktops.
Already Have a Spare Tap Hole?
If your sink or worktop already has a suitable unused tap hole, this can often be used for the filtered-water tap, avoiding the need to drill a new opening.
Already Bought Your Water2 Filter?
I specialise in installing water filtration systems supplied by the customer.
You can purchase your Water2 system directly yourself and simply book me to install it. There's no requirement to purchase the filter through me.
Before booking, send me:

• A photo underneath the kitchen sink
• A photo of the existing pipework
• A photo of the sink/worktop if a new tap needs installing
This normally gives me enough information to check what's required and provide a quote.
Water Pressure & Water2 Filters
Your available mains water pressure can affect the flow through an under-sink water filter.
If required, I can check the incoming water pressure and compare it with the requirements of your Water2 system before installation.
If you're unsure whether a particular system is suitable for your home, send me the model before you buy it and I'll check the basic installation requirements.
